More light is coming
May it spread Hope and Healing
Winter solstice wish
Inspiration
On this spectacular day of the Winter solstice, I am reminded that the darker days do leave and brighter days are ahead. I do appreciate the darkness of the Winter as a time to rest, reflect, and go within. I also know it can be heavy, depressing, and scary for some of us. I hope that by looking at my photo, you are reminded of the light to come AND the light within you! I also hope that as we embrace the Light within ourselves and others, hope and healing will blossom and spread throughout the world.
My photo was taken during the Summer, but I wanted to use it to emphasize what we have to look forward to. I love that there is an iridescent heart shape above the sun. It feels like a love note. :)
I have written a handful of haiku since last night around the Winter solstice, but this is the one I wanted to highlight right now. Perhaps I’ll share more of them during the Winter!
Happy Winter Solstice! Joy, Light, and Laughter to you!
