Flowers That Last Forever

I have created
flowers that last forever
like my love for you

Inspiration

I wrote this haiku last Spring which was prompted by flowers I love to draw. This photo is an example of flowers I draw often, (mostly) using my favorite colored pencils created by eeBoo. I love the jumbo size! The pink and orange colors are my favorite! You can tell this, too, by looking at which pencils are the shortest now. :)

Haiku will often come to me while out in nature, looking at photos I’ve taken, and sometimes while drawing. I wasn’t necessarily thinking of writing a haiku when this one came to me. I adore flowers and realized how wonderful it is to have some that are always around. Art has a way like that!

Do you like flowers? Do you like to draw? How do you like to create? Feel free to comment below!
